My story

Hi there! I’m Wally — a big brindle goofball with an even bigger heart (literally… check out the white marking on the back of my neck! Some say it looks like a heart, others say Batman’s symbol. Either way, I think it makes me pretty special).I’m the kind of pup who’s always down for a good snuggle session on the couch, especially if there are superhero movies involved. I love being close to my people — they’re my favorite thing in the whole wide world. I do get the zoomies now and then (hey, these long legs need room to stretch!), so a yard or some playtime outside would be awesome.I’m a smart cookie, too! I already know sit, stay, down, shake, and I walk nicely on a leash. I’m also crate trained, house trained, and always eager to learn more if there are treats involved (and trust me, I always know when there are treats involved — I’ve got a serious sniffer!).I get along great with other dogs, and I’m still figuring out how I feel about cats and kids, but I’m open to new experiences with the right introductions. I do bark when I’m left alone because I miss my people, but my foster family is helping me learn that alone time isn’t so bad with some tasty snacks and a cozy crate. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, loving pup who’s equal parts cuddly and clever — I might just be your guy. I can’t wait to find my furever home and give you the biggest brindle hug ever!My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Wally, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
