My story

Hi, I’m Joe! Resident toy enthusiast, dedicated protector, and all-around good boy. I have been at FFF for a little over a year now, and I would really like to be a part of a family. I may not be a social butterfly with other dogs, but when it comes to humans, I’m a total lovebug! I lived in a cool Foster home for 3 months, and I want to share an update on what life was like there: I’m a big fan of walks, especially long ones or hikes where I can take in all the smells. Other dogs barking? Doesn’t bother me. I keep my cool and stay focused. Toys, though? That’s where I let loose! I go all out for about 5-10 minutes, then I’m over it—onto my next important task, which is usually napping. And let me tell you, I sleep hard. We’re talking full-on, Three Stooges-level snoring. I take my meals seriously, but don’t worry—I’m a polite diner. My humans can walk right past me while I eat, and I don’t mind at all. I’m on a solid routine with my meals, and I’ve got my potty training down, too. I like knowing where my humans are at all times, but I’ve been working on being okay with a little alone time. I even take breaks on my bed in the living room now—big progress! Crates? Not my favorite, but I can handle it for a few hours, and I just snooze the whole time (no meds needed!). I’m not a counter surfer, I take my treats like a gentleman, and I only bark when it’s absolutely necessary—like when the pool guy or gardener shows up. Gotta let my people know, right? Oh, and my favorite toys? The chicken and the flamingo. I put on a whole comedy show when I play with them. I should also mention that I am part of this really special program here at Frosted Faces Foundation called the Molly & Me Project. You can read more about what that means exactly and all of the great incentives that come along with picking me as your four-legged companion at http://frostedfacesfoundation.org/mollymeproject. I may have a serious, stoic face, but don’t be fooled—I’m a total love bug. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, and adventure-loving companion, I might just be your guy! Please email my friends at placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org to schedule a time for us to meet. Your future best friend, Joe

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Joe, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
