My story

Joe didn’t have the easiest start to life. He bounced from home to home, never getting the stability he deserved. Through no fault of his own, he eventually found himself at Baldwin Park Animal Shelter — alone and in need of a Christmas miracle. That miracle came on December 16, 2023 when Frosted Faces stepped in and scooped Joe up just in time for the holidays. While he loves his walks he can’t hike as far as he used to. A brief walk in nice weather is ideal. If you had to pick Joe’s three favorite past times it would be snuggling on the couch, playing with stuffed animals, and going for car rides. Joe has been going on field trips with a dedicated FF family who shared “It was another fabulous 3 day field trip with Joe! Every time I have the honor of hosting him, I fall in love with him even more. He is so handsome! He has huge brown eyes that melt your heart and an ear to ear smile when he’s happy that tells you exactly how much joy he’s feeling. He is a fabulous snuggler, wanting to feel you next to him. And if you don’t touch him, he’ll lay his head or a paw on you to make the connection.” As much as Joe loves humans, he does best with his own space. Since he needs to be the only dog in his household, Joe is eligible to foster through our Molly & Me Project, a paid foster program.
