My story

We can only imagine the struggles Marmot’s endured before finding safe passage to Bianca’s Furry Friends where he’s made the most of a decidedly different, safer lifestyle. While an edginess remains when dealing with new situations, the consistency of our team encouraging him with treats and play has eased him into this far improved atmosphere. Marmot has been trained to sit with four paws on the floor when requesting treats—a habit his roommates have learned to mimic. Such an unlikely tutor! Marmot is laser focused on the things he knows he wants: a pursuit of feathers, a healthy portion at the treat parties, and a seat by the door waiting, ever hopeful, for that special someone to connect with him in a way that has alluded him thus far. A home with experienced adults and older children ready to delight in all Marmot has to offer is what he’s been waiting for. He also gets along with dogs!
