We have a very sweet Cookie that you can spend as much time as you want with and not have to count calories. Meet Cookie, the mom to our Christmas cookie and girl scout cookie litters. Cookie had been a stray in Memphis for a long time. It has been almost two years since we were contacted about her. With the help of concerned citizens, patience and two litters of puppies later we finally caught Cookie and brought her into rescue. She is ready to find her forever home and enjoy retirement from having babies. She was a great mom and kept her babies safe and loved. She deserves the same kind of devotion and love in her new home. Cookie is a very sweet girl that can be a little shy at first. She just needs time to know that she is safe and loved. Cookie enjoys treats, toys and a good belly rub if you have a moment. Microchipped: Yes FOSTER EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATION: Dogs: Yes, fostering with other dogs of various sizes, genders and breeds Cats: Unknown Other Small Animals: Unknown Children: Yes, but with older children. We are not sure what happened to Cookie when she was a stray, but she is scared of smaller kids with lots of energy. She would do best with older children that understand to go slow with her. ADOPTION INFORMATION: We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need.
