Meet RITA: The Velvety-Soft Mama With the Sweetest Little Soul! Hi, I’m Rita! My friends also call me Rita. I’m a beautiful 8-year-old Bone Mouth Shar-Pei mix weighing around 50 pounds, with soulful eyes, excellent wrinkles, velvety-soft fur, and the gentlest heart. I lovingly raised two beautiful puppies, and my nurturing spirit has never left. I’m incredibly sweet, calm, and affectionate in my own quiet way. I give the softest little kisses and love being near my people without needing to be the center of attention. I may not climb into your lap, but I’ll happily settle nearby and keep you company wherever you are. Think of me as your peaceful, wrinkly little sidekick. — MY MANY TALENTS — 🐾 Exceptional Leash Manners Daily walks are one of my favorite things, and I stroll beautifully beside my person. 🚗 Wonderful Car Companion I ride calmly and quietly, whether we’re heading out on an adventure or making a very important snack run. 🍖 The Gentlest Treat-Taker I accept snacks with the softest little mouth. I have important thoughts to share! 🔔 Thoughtful Watchdog I only bark when there is actually something worth telling you about. 🐶 Dog-Friendly Darling I’m looking for a forever home with another friendly dog to help me feel comfortable and confident. After spending far too long in boarding, I’m finally learning what it feels like to be safe and loved in a foster home. I’m blossoming more every day, and it has been such a joy to see my sweet, silly personality emerge. I’m looking for a peaceful home with patient people, daily walks, cozy places to rest, plenty of kindness, and a friendly canine companion. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I know I’m safe, I’ll stay close, offer gentle kisses, chat with you when I’m excited, and become the calm, loyal companion your heart has been waiting for.
