I’m a 7-years-young Black Mouth Cur & American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Don't let the age fool you—I’ve got the perfect blend of "Let's go for a hike!" energy and "Let's binge-watch an entire season of your favorite show" vibe. The rumor mill says I’ve been failed by humans a few times in the past, but I don't harbor grudges. I just harbor a lot of love. Honestly, I am so done with the boarding facility life. It’s loud, the decor is minimalist at best, and the room service is lacking. I’m ready to find my actual family—or a wonderful foster savior—to spring me out of here and bring me inside where the cozy beds are! — THE ELMER RESUME (YES, I’M HIGHLY QUALIFIED) — 🐾 The Basics: Male, Neutered, Microchipped, and fully Vaccinated. 🐾 House Manners: 10/10. I am fully house-trained and crate-trained. No indoor accidents on my watch! 🐾 Party Tricks: I know Sit, Down, Shake, and High Five! (I told you I was smart). 🐾 Co-Pilot Status: Excellent car rider. I’m always down for a road trip, a Starbucks pup cup run, or a drive to the nearest hiking trail. 🐾 Water Enthusiast: Love a good splash! If there's water or a game of fetch involved, count me in. — MY PERFECT ROOMMATES (AND WHO SHOULD PASS) — I have a giant heart, but I do have a few specific requests for my future kingdom: 🐶 Dog Friends: I love playing with dogs my own size! Let’s wrestle and chase each other around. 🚫 No Small Pets: Small dogs and cats are a no-go for me. I’m a big boy and they just don't fit my play style. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Humans: I adore adults and older kids! Because I get super excited and tap into my inner silly-goofy self, I might accidentally knock over tiny toddlers, so big kids only please! — MY IDEAL SATURDAY — We’d start the morning with an awesome hike, a fun walk, or a great game of fetch to burn off my playful energy. Then, the real magic happens indoors. I am a certified, gold-medal-winning affectionate cuddle bug. I will gladly curl up right next to you on the couch, request some premium belly rubs, and just chill. They say I’m "all you need," and honestly? I have to agree.
