My story

Hi, my name is Maggie, and I'm 5 years old and weigh 55 lbs. It's difficult to tell in my photos, but I have a beautiful, shiny black coat with auburn highlights. I am a little shy at first, but once I get to know and trust someone, I will be the most loyal and loving dog ever. I have wonderful house manners, so my foster family leaves me with run of the house when they leave. I love toys, in fact I'm a little addicted to them! I don't chew or destroy them, I just love to carry them around, kind of like a security blanket. I get along well with the other dog in my foster home, but I am a little scared and nervous around new dogs. Truth be told, I would love to be an only dog so I can get all the attention and cuddles. I also prefer a quiet, low activity home, and I am not a good candidate for apartment life. I'm really a low maintenance dog. Just let me hang out with my people, and I'm good!
