Milo

My story

Meet Milo! He is a 2 yr old neutered male Boxer mix that weighs 60lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 1/16/2025 as a surrender from a truck driver that could not take him on his trips. He was adopted briefly, but as he doesn’t care for cats he came back to the shelter on 2/20/2025. Milo not only a handsome boy he has a great happy go lucky personality, as a well as a smile that warms your heart. He enjoys being petted and loved on. He walks well on a leash, knows the sit command and takes treats gently. At times he can get excited and will jump on you, but does well with redirection. Tho he enjoys chasing toys he doesn’t bring them back. I’m sure that could change when in his own loving home and finding just the right toy. Walking past other dogs in the shelter he did not show any reaction, but we do ask if you have another dog in the home to please ask the shelter for a dog test. Milo would make a great family companion! He is a happy, friendly, energetic, playful boy that will make you smile each day! If you can offer him a loving family, secured yard, and will spend his indoors cuddling with his human companions, please come meet him!
