My story

My personality: Independent and sensitive yet gentle and calm. My story: I used to live on a beach in the south of Phuket where lots of local people knew and cared for me. However, they started to worry about my safety after I began to be bullied by other dogs in the area. One day, in August 2020, I was attacked quite badly, and a kind man called Soi Dog for help. I recovered well but, as it was unsafe for me to return to my territory, it was decided that I would stay here at the shelter until I could find a home of my own. My needs: Understandably, I can be a bit wary of other dogs and would therefore prefer to be my family’s one and only to start off with. I may be able to live with another canine friend after I've had a chance to settle in though. I would also prefer a home without younger children as, although I'm a fairly confident boy nowadays, I'm still sensitive to new situations. Aside from that, I'm simply looking for a family who wants a gentle dog to go for strolls around the neighborhood with before going home and relaxing. The man who brought me to Soi Dog has offered to help sponsor my flight to my forever home. Please take him up on his kind offer and inquire today! DISCLAIMER: I am located at Soi Dog in Phuket, Thailand. Soi Dog charges no adoption fee for me and I have been neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters simply need to cover the cost of my travel crate, flight(s), and Rabies Titer Test (RTT). If you are interested in adopting me, then please inquire for further details. I woof really love it!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Boots, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
