My story

This delightful, beautiful and highly photogenic girl is Paris, a 50 pound, approx 5 year old spayed girl surrendered to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 3/13 due to being unwanted. She is listed as an Alaskan Husky mix. Backstory on Paris is that she arrived as a stray at the shelter on 6/1/23, was adopted on 12/2/23 and surrendered on 3/13/25. She is housetrained. She is well mannered, walks nicely on a leash, love treats and takes them politely and is a friendly, sweet natured girl. She has a moderate activity level. Paris seems uneasy in the shelter environment and who can blame her? I can’t imagine how Paris is feeling returning to the city shelter where she spent nearly 7 months, was adopted, and then returned a year and 3 months later, after having adjusted to and doubtless grown fond of her people. She looks as though she’s been well cared for, and she has the softest, silkiest fur. Her situation has really tugged at my heartstrings. I’m so hoping that someone will find it in their heart to assist in locating a home for this precious girl in which she will receive an abundance of TLC and will spend the rest of her life as a beloved family member allowed to live inside with her people.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Paris, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
