My story

Meet Surfer, the 4-year-old Pit Bull mix weighing in at 60 pounds – the ultimate wave-rider of the doggy world! This sensitive lady might take her time to catch the perfect wave of friendship, but once she does, you`ll be riding high on the surf of love! Surfer, abandoned by her previous owner, has been with us for over a year and a half, patiently waiting for her perfect wave partner. She loves going on adventures and would make a wonderful hiking companion, but the true way to her heart is through some squeaky toys and plenty of cuddles. Give this sensitive soul a few treats, a dash of patience, and watch as she transforms into a playful adventurer, ready to explore the world`s scents by your side. Surfer absolutely loves other dogs, but they better be able to keep up with this wild child! She is also much more confident with another canine friend around, so she would likely do best in a home with another dog who can show her the ropes. For families with kids, Surfer prefers a slow introduction to new faces and places, so if there are kids in her forever home they would need to be ages 16 and older.
