My story

    Chikis is a 13-year-old Chiweenie with a heart as golden as his years. Chikis has been patiently waiting for his forever home for a long time, and he’s ready to find a family who’ll appreciate his charm, loyalty, and quiet companionship. Though he takes a little time to settle in, Chikis will blossom into an affectionate and devoted companion with just a little patience. He’s looking for a calm, quiet home without children where he can relax and enjoy life at his own pace. Chikis’s Ideal Home: -A tranquil environment with patient humans who understand his need for space -A family willing to respect his boundaries, especially when he’s enjoying downtime in his bed (he can get a little grumpy/snappy). No one likes having their nap disturbed! While Chikis may show a touch of grumpiness if startled from his relaxation, he more than makes up for it with his kisses and kind-hearted nature once he feels secure.
