My story

BaileyAge: 7.5 yearsBreed: Husky MixSize: Large 90+ lbsDogs: Yes- with proper introductionsCats: NoKids: 12+Meet Bailey – the Perfect Mix of Sweet, Silly & Snuggly! This handsome husky mix, with his distinguished white muzzle, stole the hearts of our dog team overnight and has quickly become a shelter favorite! Now, Bailey is searching for his forever family—someone to love, adventure with, and cuddle up beside.Bailey’s favorite pastimes include hiking, running, long walks, playing fetch, car rides, and, of course, giving out plenty of kisses! At 7.5 years old, he’s leash trained, knows basic commands, and is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. When it comes to canine friendships, Bailey is a bit selective—he prefers being the alpha, so a meet-and-greet is required to ensure a good match. A calm, submissive dog would be the perfect buddy for him. However, Bailey is not a fan of cats.Bailey is looking for a home with older children and a fenced-in yard where he can run and play to his heart’s content. If you’re searching for that special someone, Bailey might just be the perfect addition to your family!Bailey is available for adoption at the Meriden Humane Society. For more information on Bailey please email adoptadog@meridenhumanesocietyrescue.com or use the link below to complete an adoption application! https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bailey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
