My story

Tinkerbell is a beautiful tortie who found herself homeless with her three babies. She managed to locate a backyard feral colony where she and her family could be safe in an outdoor heated house, and fed. She is very shy when first meeting new people, but once humans gain her trust, she is about the sweetest cat you could ever meet. She is loving, affectionate, gentle and non-aggressive. Tinkerbell is pretty, smart and resourceful. She has now been spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She tested negative for FIV and FeLV and she is a healthy young lady. We believe she is around 3 years old and she weighs almost 9 pounds. She is seeking a kind and patient human who will help her to turn her life around. She loves warm beds and good meals, and she will snuggle up against her people friends at night. She would love to be someone's one and only to soak up lots of attention, but she is fine with other cats when she is properly introduced and enjoys the company of non-aggressive feline friends. She is currently sharing her foster home with 8 other cats and she gets along fine with everyone. Her adoption fee is $95, which will help Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control (FCACC) continue to assist animals in need like Tinkerbell. She is being fostered in the Beverly neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. For an adoption application and to meet Tinkerbell please contact her foster mom, Kathy, at kbwilson60612@yahoo.com.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tinkerbell, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
