My story

Maddie is a great dog. She knows all the basic commands, is fully house trained, and loves her crate, although she does very well having the entire house when we are away. She is a great companion for short walks. She loves cuddling, exploring the yard, laying in the sun, chewing on raw hides, and simply being in the company of her humans. While we have never had an issue with Maddie with adults or older children, she has shown some concerning behavior towards our younger children, which has led us to the very difficult decision to rehome her. Maddie would be best fit for a family with older kids/teens or just adults and no pets. Though Maddie doesn't get along with other dogs, she is non-reactive towards them if given a little distance. We know there is a person out there who is a good fit for Maddie and will love her as much as we do!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maddie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
