My story

Birthday: July 9, 2019 Special kitties and the people who love them deserve special treatment. That’s why Midnight has a watercolor portrait which will be given as our gift to the special person who adopts her. Midnight is an incredibly special girl.  Her tale has never been a happy one.  She was abandoned by her original owner, but she was thankfully rescued by someone who found her. When she was brought into a foster home, fear overtook her, and the only thing she could do was cower and hide.  There wasn't a second that wasn't terrifying for her while she lived in this new environment.  Not only was she scared out of her wits but she had another challenge to overcome - health.   Midnight's foster noticed that her tail was constantly drooping and sought medical advice.  Through examination, it was discovered that Midnight had an issue with her anal glands that caused her tail sag.  She received treatment for the condition, but unfortunately, Midnight's tail would never be able to lift upright normally again.  Between her trauma and droopy tail, this little girl looks like she's perpetually sad.  Fear not though!  We think we can help her see the light at the end of the tunnel, and that light might just be you! The key ingredients are time and patience - with a dash of love!  It could turn this forlorn kitty into a ray of sunshine and give her a glimpse of a happy life!  Though she has struggled to feel "at home," she has been able to come out of her shell and show us her personality!  The tortitude is strong with this one, but she's also observant and sensitive.  She's just like a little sunflower - beautiful, strong, and delicate.  As long as you respect her boundaries, she will respect you and that will only strengthen the bond you form with her.  We think she would benefit from being an only kitty in her new house with no huge crowds.  She absolutely loves all kinds of scratches!  They're just too good to pass up!  One of her favorite pastimes is to sit by the window and soak in some sun!  Being this beautiful doesn't come to someone just overnight! Midnight's adoption donation is $75 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
