Nico 1-23-24

My story

Everyone say hello to Nico! Many of you may recognize this cutie. After being at BAHS for over 600 days, he was adopted out last May. Unfortunately, Nico was recently brought back to our shelter due to absolutely no fault of his own. He was very loved in his previous home, but had to part ways with his owner because of unforeseeable living arrangements. We are determined to help Nico find his forever home ASAP so that he doesn’t have to spend as much time in the shelter as he did previously. Our hearts break to see him back here sad and confused. Nico would make an excellent companion and will thrive in a home that is busy with a family ready to take him on plenty of adventures. He is high energy and will do best with an active family! He loves to play with toys, chase a ball around, and lean into you for affection once he’s done playing! Nico can be picky about the dogs he likes, but we have seen him do well with female dogs. This fun loving boy deserves the very best home! We are hopeful that he will find his forever home soon! Nico is a Shepherd mix, weighs 66 pounds, and was born on 3/16/2020. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Nico must be an indoor dog, meaning he sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside.
