My story

Breaker, breaker — this is Butters, your future co-pilot and cuddle pro! Got an empty seat in your truck or a lonely couch at home? Butters is here to report for duty! This tan terrier–pit bull mix is ready to be your loyal companion, your right-hand pup, and your best buddy on the open road (or parked in the driveway — he’s not picky as long as he’s with you). Butters is a superb car and truck rider — it’s truly his passion — and he’s perfectly housebroken. He loves learning new tricks (especially if snacks are involved) and has mastered the art of the snuggle. His tough-guy look is just a disguise — underneath, he’s all love and loyalty. He recently went on an outing with a family and he did well with the kiddos, and made sure to show off his smarts with a few commands! He prefers to be the only pet in the home (cats and other dogs need not apply), and he takes his role as your one-and-only very seriously. Butters does have a seizure disorder that’s well managed with daily medication, and he’s doing great! So if you’re looking for a road trip partner, a loyal sidekick, and a dog who’s always got his ears on — Butters is ready to roll. That’s a big 10-4, good buddy!
