Dive under the sea with Urchin!Just like his namesake, Urchin has a tough exterior, but he`s looking for a special forever home where he can transform into the softie we know he truly is.ABOUT URCHIN- At shelter- Urchin is a handsome tabby with stunning, green eyes (and no spikes!). - He is a skittish cat who is continually working to improve his comfort level with humans. He has really come out of his shell over the past few weeks! - Once comfortable, Urchin is a sweetheart who loves affection. He enjoys face and belly pets, and although not a lapcat, he has fallen asleep against his foster mom multiple times. - Urchin is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.URCHIN`S IDEAL HOME- Urchin will do best with an experienced and patient owner that can read his body language and make Urchin feel comfortable on his own timeline.- He will benefit from a calm, quiet home without small children and he must be the only cat. - Urchin is sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, so will appreciate plenty of safe spots like tunnels and cubbies to hide in while the `threat` passes. - Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Urchin settle into his new environment.
