My story

DOB May 14th, 2006 HI! My Name is Shireen, and I would love to sit on your lap. I am a chatty and friendly girl that is always up for a good snuggle. I really like to be around my people and if you are not where I think you should be, I will call out until you come and pet me. I am super social and friendly and also very curious. I like to bring you my toys as rewards for good behaviour. When I have a toy I think you might like I announce it all through the house! I was rescued from Barrie Ontario! Unfortunately my owner was no longer able to care for me but thankfully Toronto Cat Rescue came to our aid! My foster parents drove to Barrie to pick my sister and I up and we have been in foster care ever since. I am an older girl and I take medication every day. Although my kidneys are a little elevated, I recently had blood work and everyone was SO IMPRESSED with how well I am doing (my levels are not even considered high yet, just elevated!). I am very good at taking my medication once a day after my breakfast. I also take some Restoralax every day in my wet food because my medication makes me a bit constipated. Note from the foster parents: Shireen is a lovely, kind and sweet girl that just wants to be doted on every day. She enjoys sleeping with us, sitting on our laps and playing. She is pussy for pets and cuddles and is purrrfect just the way she is! Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Shireen, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
