My story

Care Bear 6166 Pit Bull Terrier Rogers, AR Adult Male Large About Meet Care Bear 6166 Sometimes it takes someone who has experienced hard times and heartless treatment from the hand of a human to show all of us how to forgive and forget. Care Bear arrived at the Humane Society suffering from neglect and lack of even the most basic of needs: food, shelter, medical attention and companionship. His fur is a still a little bit thin in spots but thanks to the kindness and compassionate nurturing of the Humane Society volunteers, Care Bear wakes up every morning (in the clouds of Care-a-Lot) with clean living quarters, a full tummy and quality medical support. He has chosen not to live in his past, but to share smiles with everyone while he enjoys a romp in the bark park and has fittingly earned his nickname of “a Care Bear marshmallow” bestowed by the HS volunteers that are witnessing his transformation. He is bulldozer strong but has a relaxed, easy-going, it’s-time-to-enjoy-life personality. Of all the Care Bear tribe, he wishes to be called Wish Bear as he looks forward to sharing his life with a loving human. He would be best as the only pet in the family.
