Heaven Sent

March 25, 2017

share

I was in a very lost place in my life and was a very lonely individual. Socially awkward, and would rather be at a movie, small dinner or at my home. I lived alone, far from family, no job and had no friends. I hated my life at that point and I began struggling with depression. One day i found a charity called Fuzzy Friend Rescue online and decided I needed a companion, a best friend and hopefully a life change. I visited the shelter in person, and didn't feel a connection with any of the available pets. I wad at a loss of hope. Then out of the corner of my eyes I see a puppy jumping up and down, going in circles and I immediately was drawn to her. I have a scar on my neck and she did too. I asked to play with her and it was love at first sight. She filled my heart with joy and hope for a good life instantly. A week later I got to bring her home. My life was changed for the better forever. She needed me and I her. We were soulmates. Her name is Gigi, she's my four legged daughter I've always dreamed of and my happiness. My luck continues to get better with her by my side. It was the best decision I have ever made. Wherever I go she goes, we are inseparable. Gigi is my second chance at life as I truly believe she was heaven sent. She's now 6 years old and I have a great life worth her. She will forever be my always . Thank you Lord.
