My oldest daughter was attending a horse camp. When we asked her how camp was going, we heard very little about horses, but we heard a lot about puppies. At the end of the camp day, the campers got to play with puppies , who had been rescued from a shelter in West Virginia. On the last day of camp, our daughter introduced the family to Kirby, the puppy she played with at camp. We all fell in love with Kirby and knew he had to join our family. Kirby had lots of playmates at the farm, so coming home with us was hard for him. The entire ride home he sat in my lap, When we got home and showed him his bed, he curled up and feel asleep, exhausted by the excitement of coming to a new home. Kirby has become a loving and happy part of our family.
