My story

From her foster mom, Kaley: Magpie is a playful, curious little girl who likes to explore everything around her. She was the first of her siblings to figure out how to get to the top of the cat tree, and she'll happily turn just about anything she can get her paws on into a toy. She's also a bit of a goofball. Magpie has a habit of finding some very strange places to sleep. You might find her underneath a cushion, tucked inside a couch cover, or snoozing somewhere you wouldn't have thought to look for a kitten. And then there's that face. Magpie has beautiful coloring and the sweetest bright pink nose that makes her especially adorable. Magpie has plenty of kitten energy, but she's affectionate too. When she's finished exploring and playing, she enjoys snuggling and snoozing with her siblings. She's friendly with people and enjoys attention while still being independent enough to entertain herself. She's very social with other cats and would do best in a home with another kitty to play and cuddle with. She's especially fond of practicing her kitten skills on her very patient mama, Birdy, whose tail, ears, and occasionally entire body have all become irresistible targets for Magpie's games. She's also good with children of all ages. We don't yet know how she feels about dogs. Magpie's mama, Birdy, was a porch cat who became pregnant. The homeowner contacted Meowtown, and Birdy and her babies came into foster care when the kittens were just one week old. Magpie's siblings Chickadee, Dove, and Wren are also available for adoption, along with their mama, Birdy. None of them are bonded, but since Magpie would really benefit from another cat in her forever home, adopting one of her siblings with her would be a great option. Magpie would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a social, playful kitten with a curious streak, a sweet side, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting. Born 08/06/2026 At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house. This kitten has not been neutered yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for neuter later.
