Dove

My story

From her foster mom, Kaley: Dove has been ready to take on the world since before she could even see it. When she and her siblings were just one week old and the other kittens were still barely squirming around the nest, Dove was already army crawling her way out to explore. Her eyes hadn't even opened yet, but apparently she had places to go. Not much has changed. Dove is a confident, curious, high-energy kitten with a big personality. She wants to investigate everything, play with everything, and be part of whatever is happening around her. She's headstrong, fearless, and seems completely convinced that she's much bigger than she actually is. She's also incredibly affectionate. Whenever someone enters her room, Dove comes running from wherever she is, meowing to be picked up and snuggled. She loves people, loves attention, and isn't shy about asking for either. Dove would do especially well in a home with another playful cat. She has lots of energy to burn and would benefit from having a feline friend to wrestle, chase, and play with, along with people who have plenty of time for interaction and snuggles. She's still a kitten and is learning that human fingers and toes aren't toys. She's good with children, although very young kids may not appreciate her current enthusiasm for nibbling on toes during playtime. We don't yet know how she feels about dogs. Dove's mama, Birdy, was a porch cat who became pregnant. The homeowner contacted Meowtown, and Birdy and her babies came into foster care when the kittens were only a week old. Dove's siblings Chickadee, Wren, and Magpie are also available for adoption, and so is their mama, Birdy! None of them are bonded, but if you're considering adopting two cats, Dove would especially enjoy having a kitty companion, and bringing home one of her siblings would give her a familiar playmate. Dove is affectionate, adventurous, playful, and absolutely full of personality. She may be little, but no one has ever managed to convince her of that. Born 08/06/2026 At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house. This kitten has not been spayed yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for spay later.
