My story

Meet Gilly! Gilly is an incredibly sweet, gentle boy who is looking for a patient and loving home. He has only been living in a home environment for about five months, so he is still learning what it means to be part of a family and adjusting to life indoors. Gilly is very low energy and happiest spending time at home with his people. He isn’t a dog who needs long hikes or lots of activity. In fact, he prefers the comfort of home and can be a little hesitant about leaving the house. Short walks around the neighborhood are plenty for him, and he would much rather relax, nap, and enjoy a calm routine. Because he is still building confidence, Gilly can be shy and nervous when meeting new people or experiencing new situations. With patience, kindness, and consistency, he continues to come out of his shell and show his loving personality. He is a sweet companion who is looking for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and continue to grow at his own pace.
