My story

YELLOW | MALE | DOB March 1, 2026 *Currently living in Elmira, ON* Meet Yellow! Yellow was brought to the shelter by a passerby who found him wandering on the road. They knew he deserved a better life and we think they were right! While he may take a little time to warm up, once he gets to know you, he warms up quickly and is happy to have you around. Yellow loves having someone nearby and enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing. He’ll check in with his people throughout the day, enjoys attention and socializing, but is also very independent and perfectly happy doing his own thing. Yellow loves to play with toys and is rarely without his favourite one, which he happily carries everywhere he goes. He’s a curious, adventurous pup who is right at home exploring nature and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about. He is crate trained, potty trained, and settles well. He has been sleeping through the night in his crate and has had no accidents in the house. He walks well on leash and travels well in the car, too! Yellow is doing very well with his foster dog sister and generally enjoys the company of other dogs. He’s social, affectionate, curious, and independent — a wonderful combination for a family looking for a fun-loving companion. Doesn't he sound like the perfect addition to your family?
