You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ADOPTION PROCESS Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application.  Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check.  2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).   If you are ready to meet one of our amazing dogs CLICK ON THIS LINK TO FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION CONSULTATION FORM Meet Aurora,  Aurora is a 5-year-old petite, lowrider pocket pittie with a gentle personality and a huge heart. After surviving a life-threatening medical emergency, this special girl is ready for the next chapter of her life and a family to call her own. Aurora has been living in a temporary foster home, where we have had the chance to see what an absolute sweetheart she is. She is potty trained, uses a dog door, is non-destructive in the home and is incredibly mellow. She is also very quiet — her foster hasn't even heard her bark! Aurora loves being close to her people. She is affectionate, gives the sweetest hugs and is perfectly happy playing with her toys or curling up beside you for a relaxing evening. She takes treats gently and already knows "sit." She doesn't need a home filled with constant activity. Aurora would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for an easygoing dog who enjoys affection, companionship and simply being together. Aurora needs to be the only pet in her home. She would love nothing more than to have her person's love and attention all to herself. Aurora's current foster home was only intended to be temporary, so finding her a committed long-term foster or foster-to-adopt home is very important. While Aurora is in foster care, the rescue covers all of her necessary expenses and provides the supplies and support she needs. Her foster family provides the safe, loving home where she can continue to thrive while waiting for her forever family. This sweet girl has already overcome so much. Now she deserves the stability, love and security of a home where she can finally settle in and know she belongs.
