QUICK FACTS Name: Patjuk Age: About 6 Months Old Gender: Female (Spaying Scheduled) Breed: Mini Jindo Mix Color: Brown with a soft, subtle brindle Weight: 8kg / 17.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and brought me to safety, giving me a second chance and the opportunity to begin again. Now, I’m looking forward to a brighter chapter filled with love, companionship, and a forever family of my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spaying Scheduled & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Patjuk! I’m a wonderfully cheerful puppy with a distinctive look all my own—warm brown coloring, a dark muzzle, and a soft, subtle brindle pattern running through my coat.  Personality-wise, I’m pure puppy joy. I might briefly give you the impression that I’m shy, but the act doesn’t last very long—come over to say hello and I’m quickly leaning into you for affection. I absolutely love people and will happily wiggle butt while asking to be petted. Watching me run around is apparently entertainment all by itself. I have that wonderfully clumsy puppy way of bouncing along on my growing legs, throwing myself enthusiastically into whatever fun is happening around me. I’m curious, innocent, affectionate, and always ready to join in. My rescuers have a hard time watching my enthusiastic little puppy run without laughing. There is one important rule to understanding me, though: even I eventually run out of batteries! I can play with complete enthusiasm and then suddenly decide I need a recharge, disappearing under a chair or into my kennel for a little break. Once my battery is full again, I’ll come right back out on my own and happily return to the fun as though nothing happened. I’m also an exceptionally squishy puppy. My soft, slightly stretchy puppy skin has earned me comparisons to rice cake, and my rescuers insist that simply describing how satisfying and adorable I am to cuddle doesn’t quite capture the experience. I’m the kind of puppy who seems determined to find something wonderful in everything: people to love, places to explore, games to play, and cozy spots to recharge before doing it all again. I’d love a family who can enjoy my lively spirit. If you’re hoping for a sweet, silly, wiggly companion who has a way of making people laugh just by being himself, I may be the little bowl of Patjuk your family has been missing.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I’m happy to approach both familiar faces and new people for attention. I enjoy leaning in for affection and am comfortable being petted, even by someone I’ve just met. Once I start feeling at ease, my trusting side really comes out—I may even roll over and show my belly to someone I’ve just met! I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs, and I enjoy approaching both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. If another dog tries to provoke me, I usually choose to move away and avoid conflict rather than engage. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward. I’m still working on my leash skills and may pull at times, but overall, I follow my person well and respond to their guidance on walks. With continued practice and consistency, my leash manners can continue to improve.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs. When there’s something I really want, I may use a little barking to let you know, but with consistent guidance and positive training, I can continue learning calmer ways to communicate. I’m calm and settled when I’m in a kennel I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
