My story

Meet Rue: a brilliant, deeply cuddly girl ready to find her safe haven. Found abandoned as a tiny pup, Rue has blossomed through dedicated love, learning tricks like "shake" at just six weeks old. She is house-trained, crate-trained, cat-friendly, and very smart. When she needs to go outside, she won't bark—she’ll fetch you with the most adorable hopping zoomies! Once comfortable, she loves to play, go for walks, and snooze by your desk like a happy little potato. Because of her early trauma, Rue experiences significant anxiety and needs a quiet, calm home with a gentle, patient person. Loud voices, sudden changes, unfamiliar dogs, and car rides are very scary for her; she requires soft encouragement, never harsh corrections. She tends to trust women faster than men and is currently supported by anti-anxiety medication. With time, patience, and reassurance, Rue will reward you with unwavering loyalty and sweetness.
