Rosie

My story

Rosie is a sweet, intelligent young dog with a gentle, playful personality. She has been wonderful with our children, even happily joining their games or relaxing on the floor while they play around her. She is housebroken, generally quiet at home, rarely jumps, sleeps peacefully on her bed, and is comfortable having her paws, ears and tail handled. Rosie walks with a Gentle Leader and is food-motivated and eager to learn. She knows sit/stay, waits patiently for food and treats, and has learned not to rush through an open front door.Rosie is still a young dog and needs someone willing to continue her training. She loves to chew, doesn't yet have reliable off-leash recall, and has a prey drive for birds and small animals. Her compatibility with unfamiliar dogs is unknown, so thoughtful introductions would be important. She has no known bite history. Rosie has so much potential, and we hope to find a loving home with the time and consistency to help this wonderful girl thrive.
