My story

Friendly, People-lover and Curious Marshall is a friendly, confident guy who loves people and isn’t shy about leaning in for a little extra affection.BIO: - Mixed Breed, 8 months, Male (will be neutered soon)- Medium (60 lb), Medium-high energy- Marshall is an unclaimed stray from Northern Ontario- He is house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinationsABOUT MARSHALL: - Friendly and social—he wants to say hello to every dog and person he sees on a walk with a happy, wagging tail.- Curious and confident, especially for a puppy, taking new sights and sounds in stride- Knows “sit” and is learning to keep all four paws on the ground when excited.- A very good listener who responds well to guidanceMARSHALL’S IDEAL HOME:- Marshall will thrive with an active family who enjoys walking and spending time outdoors. Loves a good walk, a good sniff and the chance to explore—he definitely has hiking buddy potential- Marshall will need obedience training for his leash manners, this will not only help build a bond with his new family, it will also set him up for success as he grows!- He would do better with older children until he learns to keep all four on the ground when he’s excited, positive reinforcement training will help, he’s already making great progress- Marshall can be vocal in his kennel, we are not recommending him for a shared wall situation- He may be fine with a dog (of similar energy and temperament) or cat, if his potential adopter has pets in the home we’ll arrange for a meet and greet. We think Marshall would love to meet you (heck, he likes meeting everyone!) and maybe lean in for a little affection too.
