Everest

My story

Everest is a 9-year-old Husky whose is currently being cared for by a family member while his owner, an active duty-military member, is stationed overseas. Unfortunately, their deployment has been extended much longer than originally expected, and his owner has made the difficult decision to find Everest a permanent, loving home. Everest is a big hearted, loyal, and affectionate boy who loves being part of a family. He is approximately 90 lbs and has a low-to- moderate energy level. He enjoys walks, hikes, and being outside with his person, but he is also perfectly happy relaxing at home and keeping you company while you work or relax. He is wonderful with children, dogs, and cats and has consistently done very well at doggie daycare. He is an experienced road trip traveler and does very well on long car rides. More than anything, Everest wants a person or family who will include him, love him, and let him spend his golden years knowing he is finally home.
