He would love a friendly companion dog in the home, OR  alternatively, a family committed to providing him with plenty of opportunities to socialize and play with other dogs so he can continue growing into the amazing canine citizen he already is! ❤️               Meet Lukey — Your New Wingman! ❤️ Hi, I’m Lukey! If you’re looking for a wingman, cuddle buddy and four-legged family member who wants to join in on all the fun, I may just be your guy! I absolutely love my people. I want to be wherever you are and part of whatever you’re doing. Whether you’re heading out for a walk, hanging out in the backyard, relaxing on the couch or piling into bed at the end of the day, you can count me in! And speaking of bedtime… my currency is snuggles. ❤️ There is nothing better in my world than curling up in bed at night with my people. I’m an affectionate little guy who takes cuddling very seriously! I’m also great with kids and love being part of a family. I have a happy, social personality and enjoy having people and furry friends around me. If you’re busy, I’m perfectly happy curling up near one of my foster siblings for a nap until you’re available for more snuggles. I have a playful side too! I get excited when it’s time for a walk, love playing with my toys and have a blast racing around the backyard doing puppy zoomies. Once I’ve had my fun, I settle down nicely and am more than ready for some cuddle time. ❤️ A few words from my foster mom: Lukey really is a wonderful little dog. He is sweet, affectionate, playful and incredibly loving. He follows us around the house because he genuinely wants to be part of family life. He is wonderful with children, enjoys the company of other dogs and has been doing really well walking on leash with his foster siblings. When we do need to leave him, he has done well in a safe, secure area of the house with the other dogs. Lukey is still a youngster, so he is continuing to work on his housetraining and will need a family willing to keep him on a consistent routine. He’ll also benefit from continued socialization, adventures and opportunities to experience the world as he grows. Lukey was born with a small difference in one of his rear paws. You wouldn't even notice it looking at him normally — and Lukey certainly doesn't know he's any different! It doesn't slow him down whatsoever. He walks, runs, plays and zooms around the backyard just like any other happy pup. Lukey thrives on companionship and would love a home where his people are around much of the time. A friendly companion dog would be wonderful for him, or a family committed to making sure he has lots of opportunities to socialize and spend time with other dogs. Most of all, Lukey is looking for his people — a family who wants their dog to truly be part of the family. If you're looking for a little wingman who will join in on the adventures, play with the kids, make you laugh, follow you around the house and then snuggle into bed beside you at night, Lukey is ready to apply for the job. ❤️ Fun when it's time to play. ❤️ Loving when it's time to cuddle.
