My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Jump Age: 10 months old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Corgi mix Color: Brown, Black spots on my mouth Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound where I had sadly been placed on the euthanasia list due to a lack of space. With limited time and an uncertain future ahead of me, I desperately needed someone to give me a second chance. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in before it was too late and brought me to safety. Despite everything I went through, I came out of my crate for the very first time with a wagging tail, happily making my rounds to say hello to everyone. Somehow, my difficult past never dulled my bright and loving spirit. Those uncertain days are behind me now. I’ve been given my second chance at life, and all I’m missing is a forever family to share it with.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a social little butterfly who is very popular with my dog friends! I have a calm, patient, and understanding personality, and I’m wonderfully accepting of other dogs. Even when another dog is being a little pushy or rude, I tend to stay relaxed and give them plenty of patience rather than getting upset. Don’t let my short little legs fool you either! I can run surprisingly fast and absolutely love zooming around with my friends. When I’m in a hurry to get somewhere, I’ll sometimes take a shortcut and run right underneath the taller dogs’ legs, which always makes everyone laugh. Some of my best friends have very long legs, so seeing all of us running around together is especially adorable. And stairs? No problem! My little legs carry me up and down just fine. I’m also an incredibly kind and generous boy. I’m happy to share my food with my dog friends and have such a gentle nature around them. I’m just as friendly with people and love making human friends too. Between my funny little legs, sweet temperament, and cheerful personality, I have a special way of making people smile. I’m the kind of boy who will brighten someone’s day simply by being myself.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I may seem a little shy when we first meet, but don’t let that first impression fool you because I’m actually a very friendly and affectionate girl! Once I realize you’re there to be my friend, my true personality quickly comes shining through. I love meeting new people and am comfortable around both men and women. I happily accept pets and affection and enjoy spending time with everyone I meet. I’m also comfortable being gently picked up and held. Give me just a little time to settle in, and you’ll quickly discover that underneath my initially shy appearance is a social little girl with lots of love to give. · With Dogs: I’m super friendly and social with other dogs and seem to get along with just about everyone I meet! I happily greet new canine friends and enjoy spending time with dogs of all different personalities. I have a naturally easygoing and accepting nature, which helps me fit in nicely with other dogs. Whether it’s making a new friend, joining in on some playtime, or simply hanging out together, I’m happy to have canine company around me. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well. I also have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I may occasionally bark when I’m looking for a little extra attention, but overall I know how to settle down and rest calmly in my kennel. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. I may mark a little when I first enter a new environment, but this should improve as I settle in and become familiar with my new routine and surroundings. With my gentle, easygoing personality, I’m a wonderfully adaptable boy who is friendly with both people and dogs. I could settle in beautifully with a family who already has dog siblings, but I’d also be perfectly happy as the only dog soaking up all the love and attention for myself.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a sweet, easygoing boy with a gentle personality that makes it easy for me to get along with just about everyone. I love people, enjoy making new dog friends, and am especially patient and understanding with the dogs around me. Even when another dog gets a little pushy, I tend to stay calm and accepting rather than letting it bother me. My short little legs are also a big part of my charm, but they definitely don’t slow me down! I love running around with my friends, many of whom have much longer legs than I do. When I’m in a hurry, I’ll sometimes dart right underneath another dog’s legs to get where I’m going, which always makes everyone laugh. I can even handle stairs without a problem. I’m also a kindhearted boy who is happy to share with my dog friends and genuinely enjoys being part of the group. At the same time, I’m adaptable enough that I could be just as happy as the only dog in my forever home. Whether I end up with canine siblings or have my family all to myself, I know I’ll bring plenty of sweetness, companionship, and little moments of laughter into their lives.
