My story

Hi, I'm Charles! 🐕 I'm a striking 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a beautiful black and white coat and a nice energy level to match my curious spirit. Already neutered and raring to go, I'm affectionate and easygoing and smart with a fun side. I'm great with other dogs and folks love how friendly and gentle I am — plus, I'm dignified enough to be your adventure buddy and cuddly enough to be your best friend. Come meet me and let's start our story together! 💙 Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
