My story

Sophie is a 2.5 year old dog who is half heeler and an unknown breed. She takes a while to warm up to a new person, but once she does she is incredibly kind and loyal. Sophie has a lot of energy and could run for hours if you let her. She's playful, cuddly, and a great companion for those that would fit with her.I'm rehoming her because she has bitten my smaller dog, a corgi. I've only noticed this kind of behavior with smaller dogs. She is fine around large dogs and is amazing at the dog park, but tries to herd the small breeds that live with her. She is not aggressive towards people and has never bitten me or anyone else. Ideally I would like to find her a home with owners who are willing and able to expend all of her energy and give her the love and attention she needs.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sophie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
