QUICK FACTS Name: Dulle Age: 1 year old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Shiba mix Color: Beige, White Weight:  10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound where I had sadly been placed on the euthanasia list. With limited time and an uncertain future ahead of me, I desperately needed someone to give me a second chance. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in before it was too late and brought me to safety. Those frightening days are behind me now, and I’m ready to begin a completely new chapter. All I’m missing is a forever family who will cherish me, keep me safe, and show me that I’ll never have to worry about losing my home again.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super friendly boy with a naturally happy and outgoing personality! When I was first rescued and the door to my crate opened, I didn’t hesitate. I came right out with a wagging tail and immediately made my rounds saying hello to everyone. No one knows exactly how I ended up at a city pound, but one thing is certain: it didn’t dull my spirit or my love for people. I’m also an incredibly intelligent boy. I have beautiful, expressive eyes that seem to take in everything happening around me, and I’m very attentive to the people I’m with. I learn quickly, pick up on cues easily, and genuinely enjoy figuring out what’s being asked of me. With consistent positive training and a family willing to keep challenging that clever mind of mine, I have so much potential. I’m already showing everyone just how bright I am, and with the right guidance, I know I’ll thrive and become an amazing companion.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: II’m super friendly with people and love making new friends! I’ll happily greet you with a wagging tail and am always excited to accept tasty treats, pets, and affection. I’m also an incredibly smart boy who already knows how to sit and wait. I’m comfortable being picked up and held, and once I feel relaxed with you, I’ll even roll over and show you my belly for some extra love. With my friendly nature, eagerness to learn, and affectionate personality, it doesn’t take long for me to win people over. · With Dogs: I love meeting new dogs and am always happy to make new canine friends! I enjoy greeting them and playing together, and I have a friendly, social nature that makes it easy for me to get along with others. I’m also wonderfully patient with smaller dogs. Even if a little dog gets pushy or forgets their manners, I stay calm and tolerant rather than getting upset. I’m good at keeping the peace and would much rather enjoy everyone’s company than get involved in any doggy drama. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m an incredibly smart boy with so much potential! I learn quickly, pick up on cues easily, and would thrive with a family who enjoys keeping both my mind and body active. I could be a great candidate for agility training or other fun training activities that challenge me and give me opportunities to show off just how clever I am. I already walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead nicely. I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I may occasionally bark when I’m looking for attention, but overall I’m a quiet boy. I also know how to confidently jump in and out of the car, so I’m ready to tag along for adventures with my future family! For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent walking routine, I’m expected to prefer doing my business outside. Bath time, however, is where my dramatic side makes an appearance! I may scream and act like the whole experience is terribly unfair, perhaps that’s the Shiba in me, but I eventually accept my fate and adjust quickly. Underneath all that drama is a very cooperative and intelligent boy. I would especially thrive with a family who understands and appreciates the intelligence, loyalty, and strong personalities often seen in Jindos and Shibas. With continued positive training, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to learn, I have everything I need to reach my full potential. Smart, social, affectionate, adventurous, and just the right amount of dramatic, I really am the perfect package!   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES Even though I’m still a young dog, I have such a calm and collected personality. I tend to take things in stride and carry myself with a gentle, easygoing nature that makes me wonderful to be around. I may still have plenty of youthful curiosity, but I’m not constantly bouncing off the walls and know how to settle down and enjoy the quieter moments too. I’m a sweet boy who enjoys being close to my people and taking in the world around me at my own comfortable pace. My calm nature also comes through when I’m with other dogs. I’m patient, respectful, and would much rather keep the peace than get involved in any doggy drama. Being young means I still have so much ahead of me, and I’m excited to experience it all with a family of my own.
