My story

Hi, my name is Tessa, Female - pending spayGerman Shepherd MixApprox. 8 years oldI'm an all-around great lady with a friendly and easygoing nature. Meeting new people is one of my favourite things, and I greet everyone with a wagging tail and a big smile. When it comes to meal times, I enjoy my food at a normal pace. While I might not be overly interested in toys, talk about treats and people, and you'll see my eyes light up-that's my absolute favourite!As an older lady, I must admit that I can be a bit eager on the leash. I could certainly benefit from some leash manners training, but with patience and guidance, I'm confident I'll improve. I am excellent when it comes to body handling-whether it's touching my paws or rubbing my tummy, I'm as easygoing as they come. I recently had my first professional grooming experience, and I must say, I did amazing!Being a senior lady, I can be a bit selective with my doggy friends. I prefer companions who are respectful of this aging queen, and I feel the same way about kitties. When it comes to training, I know some basic obedience skills. With my love for treats and the desire to please, I'm sure I can learn some cool new tricks!If you're looking for a loving, gentle, and friendly companion who will brighten your days, I might just be the perfect match for you.
