My story

Meet Krishna! This sweet girl was found on the streets of Detroit, ended up in the overcrowded city shelter and has been waiting for her break ever since. Krishna quickly became a volunteer favorite at the shelter because of her loving spirit. But as the shelter filled up and her time began running dangerously low, we received a desperate plea to pull her to safety. With all of our foster homes completely full, our only choice to save her life was to place her in boarding. Krishna has now been in boarding for 3 weeks, and the environment is starting to take a toll on her. Boarding is no place for a dog who just wants to be part of a family. She is confused, stressed, and desperately needs a home to call her own. Krishna has so much love left to give—she walks beautifully on a leash, greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a kiss, and is happiest when she is snuggled up close with her people. She also has a fun, playful side and absolutely loves every single toy she can get her paws on! We want nothing more than to get this deserving girl into a loving foster or forever home where she can finally feel safe. Could it be with you? About Krishna: *Estimated to be 2 years old & 43 lbs. of LOVE *Fully spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date (UTD) on all vaccines. *She is doing amazing with holding her potty to go outside and is crate trained. *Dog friendly given proper introductions to new dog friends. (Cats Unknown) *Walks beautifully on a leash, loves to cuddle, and is extremely gentle when taking treats. *Knows "SIT" and is very eager to please! *Loving, affectionate, deeply devoted to her humans, playful, and toy-obsessed.
