Andre

My story

DOB: Feb 25, 2025 - FIV/FeLV Negative Andre is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Andre is a handsome boy with striking green eyes, a playful personality, and plenty of character! Andre is a social, curious guy who likes to come forward and see what's up, rub up against any surface, and engage with the people around him. He’s playful and interested in attention, but he can also become overstimulated with handling and may use his teeth to let you know when he’s had enough. He’ll do best with a cat-savvy adopter who can read his body language, respect his boundaries, and let Andre decide when he’s ready for affection. Andre has a slightly stiff or unusual gait in his hind end, with his back legs occasionally swinging outward when he walks. He gets around well and remains active and playful, but this is something that is currently being monitored, however at this time is not a concern. This goofy young guy has had a lot thrown at him in his first year of life, and we’d love to see what his personality looks like once he can finally settle into a home of his own. With an understanding person who gives him space when he asks for it and plenty of opportunities to play, Andre has all the makings of a wonderfully entertaining companion. Andre would do well in a home with another cat and could make a wonderful feline companion.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Andre, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
