My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Nico Age: Around 4 months and a half (Born March 24 2026) Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Mixed (Jindo, Spitz, Terrier Mix) Color: White, light brown Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was born at the care facility after my mom, Butterball, was rescued while pregnant. Thanks to the incredible love and care of the volunteers, my siblings and I have grown up safe, healthy, and surrounded by kindness. While I'm so grateful for the wonderful start I've had, what I really dream about is having a family of my very own. I'm ready to leave the care facility behind and begin a lifetime of adventures, love, and happy memories with my forever family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I'm the biggest of my siblings, and I have an even bigger heart! I'm an incredibly friendly boy who loves both people and other dogs. The volunteers and staff always tell me how lucky my future family will be because of my sweet, affectionate, and lovable personality. I have a great appetite, which makes me eager to learn and easy to train with positive reinforcement. One of my favorite things is following people around to "help" with whatever they're doing, whether it's cleaning, handing out treats, or simply asking for a few extra pets and cuddles. I'm happiest when I'm close to my people and part of the action.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love people and can never get enough attention! I happily greet everyone I meet and am always ready for cuddles and affection. During my profile photoshoot, I spent most of my time snuggled up in the volunteers' arms, soaking up every moment of love. I happily let myself be picked up, and one of my favorite ways to introduce myself is by rolling over for a belly rub the very first time we meet. I'm sure my affectionate personality will steal your heart in no time. · With Dogs: I love playing with my dog friends and am always happy to make new ones! I have a gentle, easygoing nature and would much rather keep the peace than get involved in conflict. Even when another dog is being pushy or rude, I simply choose to walk away. Since I'm still a young boy, I'm continuing to learn good social manners and grow more confident every day. · With Cats: I've lived with cats for about four months in my previous foster home and did very well with them. I should make a wonderful companion for a respectful, dog-savvy cat who understands my space. With proper introductions, I'm expected to adjust nicely to living with feline friends again.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm still learning my leash manners and getting better every day! I'm eager to learn and continue improving with patient guidance and positive reinforcement. I have wonderful manners around food and don't guard my meals from either people or other dogs. I'm also a very quiet boy who rarely barks and already knows how to settle calmly in my kennel. For potty habits, I currently use both pee pads indoors and go potty outside, making me an adaptable companion for my future family.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding I’m a young pup and will need continued socialization training   SPECIAL NOTES I'm the biggest of my siblings, and I have a personality to match! The volunteers and staff often say my future family will be incredibly lucky because of how sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented I am. I love being involved in whatever my humans are doing and will happily follow you around the house, offering my "help" and hoping for a few extra pets or treats along the way. With my friendly nature, eagerness to learn, and endless love to give, I'm sure I'll grow into an amazing lifelong companion. I can't wait to start making happy memories with my forever family.   NICO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2812783##
