My story

Granite is a handsome four-year-old neutered male Great Dane with a striking merle coat and a heart as impressive as his size. Now in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, Granite is looking for a forever home after experiencing the heartbreaking loss of his owner. Granite came into rescue alongside Hazel after their owner passed away. While losing the person they knew and loved has been a major change, both dogs are now safe, supported, and getting the chance to begin a new chapter. Granite is ready to find a family who will give him the stability, love, and companionship he deserves. This sweet boy is wonderful with people, great with kids, and gets along well with other dogs. He is kennel trained and comes with an especially impressive training foundation—Granite is also trained to an e-collar/beeper collar. He's a smart boy who has already learned valuable skills and is ready for a family that will continue to build on that foundation. Granite is the kind of Great Dane who has so much to offer: handsome, loving, social, and ready to be someone's loyal companion. After losing his family through no fault of his own, he's hoping his next chapter will be the one that lasts forever.
