Carl

My story

Carl is a handsome, approximately 3-year-old Rottweiler with the heart of a true gentle giant. He came to the sanctuary after one of our previous adopters spotted him wandering the busy streets near our property. Watching this big, kind soul roaming such a dangerous area, we knew we had to step in before something terrible happened. Despite our efforts to find his family, no one ever came forward. Since then, Carl has become an incredibly loved member of the Sky Sanctuary family. Carl is currently in board and train, where he is doing exceptionally well! He's working on both his basic obedience and behavioral skills and has been an absolute rockstar. He is eager to learn, loves having a job to do, and thrives with structure and guidance. Carl does show some "stud" behavior around other dogs, so he would do best as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the love and attention. In return, you'll gain an incredibly devoted companion who will give you everything he has. More than anything, Carl is just a big softy. He wants nothing more than a person of his own to love with his whole heart. He is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he's by your side. One of our favorite things about Carl is his adorable little prance. He trots around like a fancy pony, full of joy and confidence, and it's impossible not to smile watching him.
