QUICK FACTS Name: Highball Age: About 9 Months Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo – Corgi Mix Color: White Weight: 8kg / 17.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY After my siblings were adopted, rescuers learned that their remaining littermates—including me—were still at the municipal shelter and had been placed on the euthanasia list. They quickly stepped in to bring us to safety and give us the same chance at a brighter future. Thanks to their compassion, I can now look forward to finding a loving forever family and beginning a happy new chapter of my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Highball! I may seem a little shy when we first meet, but my hesitation never lasts very long. Give me a moment to take everything in—especially with a tasty treat nearby—and before you know it, I'll be coming over to say hello and showing you my sweet, friendly personality. I'm a playful little boy who loves running around, having fun, and enjoying the company of other dogs. When a friendly dog approaches, I'm happy to welcome them and join in, and I recently showed just how social I can be by meeting a new friend and playing beautifully from the start. I also love treats, which makes positive training a fun and effective way to help me keep learning. With my cheerful energy, gentle nature, and ability to warm up quickly, I have all the makings of a loving and entertaining companion. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate boy who only needs a little moment to show you his true self, I'd love to meet you and become part of your family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take much to win me over. Offer me a tasty treat, and I'll happily accept it—and before long, I'll be comfortable enough to enjoy gentle pets and affection. I can also be picked up comfortably by supporting me under my belly, and I stay calm while being held. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so my behavior around young kids is simply unknown. · With Dogs: I'm polite and friendly when meeting other dogs, and I'll usually walk over to say hello with calm curiosity. While I enjoy greeting new canine friends, I don't always feel the need to play and am perfectly content with a friendly introduction before going my own way. I tend to get along especially well with dogs that are around my own size and enjoy their company the most. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's exploring, sniffing around, or simply taking in my surroundings. After I've had a chance to stretch my legs and enjoy some fresh air, I'm happy to settle down and relax quietly. I'm currently learning my leash manners and making great progress. I can be a bit enthusiastic and may pull on the leash at times, but I generally stay connected with my person and follow along well. With continued guidance and positive reinforcement, I'll continue to grow into a wonderful walking companion.   TRAINING & HABITS I have good manners around people when it comes to food and don't mind if someone is nearby while I'm eating. Around other dogs, however, I may give a warning growl if one comes too close to my meal, so feeding me separately or giving me a little personal space during mealtimes helps everyone stay comfortable. If there's something I want, I may let you know with a bit of demand barking—I'm simply good at communicating! With consistent guidance, I'll continue learning when it's the right time to use my voice. I'm calm and relaxed in a kennel, making it an easy and comfortable place for me to settle when needed. I'm well accustomed to both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty breaks, so I can adapt well to different home routines.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
