My story

The little love bug was surrendered after her owner was unable to care for her any longer. She is an absolute doll and becomes very attached to her safe person quickly. She loves leash walks and car rides and does not like being left alone for any period of time. She is well behaved and always eager to please. She would be best in a home with older children who understand boundaries and the uncertainty and fear small dogs have. She is very curious about kitties and doesn't know enough to leave them alone, so proper introductions to a feline friend will need to be done. She doesn't enjoy the crate, and will bark nonstop if left alone in one. She is booked for her spay surgery as well as a dental cleaning soon, is up to date on her vaccines, is heartworm negative, has been flea and tick treated, and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt her can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com. Click on Adopt, then Dogs for Adoption, and scroll to the bottom of the page. All applications are reviewed, and if we feel you might be a good fit for her, you will be contacted to arrange a home visit as well as for permission to speak with your vet. Repeated phone calls and emails with not advance your application. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue and there is no opportunity to meet her before an application has been approved.
