AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION Meet Jessica! Jessica is a 2-year-old female Rat Terrier/chihuahua mix who weighs 9 pounds. This adorable little girl is looking for a patient and loving family to call her own. Jessica is pee pad trained, but she will need a family who is committed to continuing her outdoor potty training with consistency and patience. She understands outdoor potty breaks but currently prefers using her pee pads. While she isn't crate trained, she settles well without one and enjoys sleeping in her own bed beside her people. Jessica can be a little shy when meeting new people and may feel nervous when the leash comes out, but with gentle encouragement and patience, she quickly begins to build trust. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate personality shines through. She loves to cuddle, especially curling up close to her favorite person, and enjoys spending her evenings relaxing on the couch after a fun day. Jessica absolutely adores other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. Cats and children are unknown, as she has not been around them. She has a playful, silly personality that is sure to make you smile. Jessica loves every toy she can get her paws on and makes sure to empty the entire toy basket! One of her funniest habits is tossing her toys—and even her kibble—up into the air before happily playing with them. Watching her zoom around the backyard and entertain herself is guaranteed to brighten your day. Jessica is an active little pup who enjoys chewing, so having plenty of toys or durable chew toys will help keep her happy and occupied.
