Sugar Bean

My story

Meet Sugar Bean!!! Here's something Sugar Bean will never understand: why she's been overlooked. It's not because of anything she's done — it's simply because she's black, and black dogs like her are so often the last ones noticed, the last ones chosen, the last ones to find a home. It's not fair, and it's not about her heart, because Sugar Bean's heart is enormous. Her story didn't start easy. Sugar Bean spent her early years chained up in Detroit, living with neglect instead of love. But somehow, despite everything, she came out the other side with nothing but gratitude and affection for the world. Now safe in her foster home, she's blossomed into the kind of dog who reminds you what resilience really looks like. Sugar Bean is a certified snuggler — 70 lbs. of pure lap dog energy, if you'll let her get away with it. She's gentle, gracious, and easy to love. She's potty trained, spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on her vaccines, ready to walk straight into her happily ever after the moment someone gives her the chance. Sugar Bean isn't asking to be someone's second choice. She's asking to be seen — for her sweetness, her loyalty, and the striking, soulful eyes that so many people scroll right past. She has so much love to give, and it's long overdue that someone gives it right back. Sugar Bean will spend the rest of her life proving you made the right choice. *5 years old *70 lbs. *Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped *Potty trained *Loves to cuddle *The sweetest girl you'll ever meet APPLY TODAY: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
