My story

Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog. We are open for walk in visitors 10am-5pm 7 days a week. NO Appointments needed. Meet Bongo! Bongo is a 10-month-old Catahoula mix who's searching for a quiet, patient home where he can finally relax and be himself. Shelter life has been especially hard on this sensitive young boy, making him nervous and unsure, but beneath his shy exterior is an incredibly sweet dog just waiting for someone to believe in him. Bongo will need a family that's committed to helping him gain confidence at his own pace. With love, patience, and gentle guidance, he'll continue to blossom into the wonderful companion he's meant to be. He's still learning the basics, including how to walk on a leash, and will thrive with positive training and encouragement. Every small success will help him feel more secure and confident in the world around him. Bongo may not be the dog who runs up to greet everyone on day one, but for the person willing to give him the time and understanding he needs, he'll become a loyal and devoted best friend.
