My story

Meet one year old Charly the happiest little best friend you'll ever meet! If you're looking for a dog with a heart of gold, Charly is your guy. Gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loving, he has the sweetest personality and expressive eyes that seem to speak straight to your heart. His happy smile is contagious, and he truly wakes up every day excited to enjoy life. Charly loves nothing more than being with his people. Whether he's snuggled beside you on the couch, joining you for a walk, or dropping his favorite ball at your feet (only to tease you by grabbing it again!), he simply wants to share every moment with you. Playing fetch is his favorite pastime, and don't be surprised if he wakes up and immediately goes looking for one of his beloved tennis balls! This handsome boy is exceptionally well behaved. He is house trained, crate trained (though he doesn't need one), walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, has great recall, and is eager to please. Charly settled into foster care almost immediately, showing everyone that he already knows what it's like to be part of a family. Charly is friendly with everyone he meets and gets along wonderfully with dogs and dog-savvy cats. He plays respectfully with other dogs, reads their cues well, and greets new people with a wagging tail and, of course, a ball in his mouth, hoping they'll play with him. His ideal home is one where he'll be loved, included in family adventures, and have a securely fenced yard to run and play. While he'd be happy as an only dog, he'd also enjoy a canine sibling or regular playdates. Most of all, Charly wants a family who will cherish him as much as he'll cherish them. If you want a loyal, easy-going, happy companion who will fill your home with love, laughter, and endless games of fetch, Charly is waiting to meet you.
